PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Miramar Map On The Xbox One

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds second map Miramar is currently on the market on Xbox One. The arrival of the map comes six months when its been on computer and a month when it arrived on Xbox One servers. For those that haven’t verified Miramar on computer its a small battlefield. If you pay the forcefulness of it slow sniping you may most likely adore it as Miramar is about within the desert and options wide stretches of sloping canyons between its urban areas. Its somewhat desolate. Its nice for long range combat however can even be a small amount on the boring gameplay if you are not into that. Whether you prefer it or not its even so a to your liking. And when six months of being confined to solely PUBGs launch map the arrival of Miramar is a minimum of a modification of change of pace for those that could also be growing bored with their surroundings.

PUBG & Fortnite Battle Royale How it Works

Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Zombies Is Most Ambitious Yet

Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Zombies Is Most Ambitious Yet

I think that with all the attention on the fact that Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII is having its own Battle Royale mode, Blackout. Many people have overlooked just how much work has gone into Zombies mode this year. In many ways, I feel that this is making up for a lack of story mode as it seems very story heavy.

What we know is that there is a team of four people (in the trailer each one looks like a certain class) that are traveling through time to stop zombie outbreaks. What is cool is that in eth default version of the game, we are getting three maps.

The Nine is set during Roman times and sees you needing to survive a zombie outbreak in a Roman coliseum. Voyage of Despair is Titanic…. But without Kate Winslett, Leo DiCaprio and instead full of blood and death! Blood Of The Dead features some of the past maps from the Black Ops series which is a neat idea. With many regular updates, seasonal events and much more. I think that Zombies mode is Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII is so jam-packed that it could very well be its own game.

There is a lot of talk about the season pass being specifically for Zombies this year. I am very, very interested in this as the time travel aspect can allow the developers to get really creative. Zombies in the future, Zombies in 60’s London, Zombies in prehistoric times and Zombies during the Civil War are just a few things that I think would be cool as additional maps.

Battlefield V, Women, Battle Royale, And More

Battlefield V: Women, Battle Royale, And More

While it may not have been revealed with the same fanfare that Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII was. DICE’s Battlefield V’s was just revealed and it looks great. I think it is fair to say that if you are a fan of the Battlefield series, you will be happy with what Dice are doing here.

Plenty of character customization, Grand Operations, a story mode and one of the most team-based multiplayer modes are all part of Battlefield V and that is what people want. While there may not have been any “huge” surprises in this reveal trailer, we all knew it was going to be set during World War II after all. What DICE are bringing to the table is sure to make Battlefield fans happy.

One of the strangest things is the uproar over women being in the game. In the trailer (and on the box) women fighting alongside the men are featured, which of course did not happen in this way during World War II. Some people are freaking out over historical accuracy, even though Battlefield has taken major liberties with history in its past games. I really do not see what the big deal here is at all

Another thing worth mentioning is a Battle Royale mode…. Or the lack of one. DICE have decided not to jump on the Battle Royale train just yet. However, they have said that they feel it is a mode that would fit Battlefield very well so maybe it will be something they add to the game at a later date.

Some may say that the Battlefield V reveal was playing it safe, but I think that is a little harsh. It has all the makings of a fun first person shooter and it will certainly be a game that I pick up when it is released later this year.

Play Valkyrie For Free In Call Of Duty WW2 This Weekend

Play Valkyrie For Free In Call Of Duty WW2 This Weekend

With all the talk and hype that is online about Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. It is very easy to forget that there is another Call Of Duty game that is already out now…. And it is awesome! Of course, I am talking about Call Of Duty WW2.

Since its release, we have had two events and two DLC packs. Of course with the DLC packs, many new maps have been added to the game. One of the maps, Valkyrie which was part of the first DLC pack, The Resistance is going to be available for everyone this weekend (25th of May) regardless of if they have purchased DLC or not.

Valkyrie is a pretty neat map. It has a very interesting layout in that there is a center to the map that you can walk through, but I like to call this the kill zone as there are many areas that snipers can hide as well as people waiting for someone to walk past so that they can blast them with a shotgun.

The setting is one of Hitler’s bases, but it is pretty destroyed, it is actually based on a real event from WW2 so that is pretty interesting. I highly recommend that you have some fun with this map, just be warned that until you learn it, you will die a lot as there are lots of fun and clever areas that players like to take advantage of.

Hopefully, in the coming months, Sledgehammer Games are going to give trials of other DLC content to players to spark a bit more interest in Call Of Duty WW2.

Will Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout Topple Fortnite Battle Royale

Will Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout Topple Fortnite Battle Royale?

Many games this year are bound to try and implement some kind of Battle Royale mode into them after the success of PUBG and the phenomenal global takeover of Fortnite Battle Royale. One game though that may actually have what it takes to stand toe to toe with Fortnite Battle Royale is Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 and its Blackout mode.

Taking place on the largest Call Of Duty map in history and feature many iconic places from Black Ops past, Blackout has all the makings of a really, really good time. Not to mention the insane amount of weapons and the fact you can travel by land, sea, and air. Many thought that the Battle Royale mode that Black Ops 4 has would be nothing more than a quick cash grab. Actually, it is quite the opposite and you can tell a lot of attention has gone into this mode, it is the main selling point of this year’s Call Of Duty game!

So will people leave Fortnite Battle Royale to go and play Blackout mode in Black Ops 4. I think that some no doubt will and I think that Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 is going to be very, very successful. However, I am not sure it is going to be able to topple Fortnite the way that Fortnite did PUBG.

Fortnite Battle Royale is free and Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 is going to be a full priced game. I would not be surprised if in the weeks before Black Ops 4’s launch that Epic release a ton of cool new skins and other stuff for Fortnite to try and get people to spend their money on that instead of Call Of Duty.

I would love to know what you guys think. Do you think that Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout will become the number one Battle Royale mode?

Will Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Have Free Map Packs

Will Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Have Free Map Packs?

There is a lot of buzz right now thanks to a leak from EB Australia that showed the Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Specialist Edition, which is this year’s games “special edition” that Black Ops IIII is not going to have map packs as part of a season pass.

The talk is that we can expect one or two new maps added to Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII each month for free. This is something other shooters have done such as Overwatch, PUBG, Star Wars Battlefront II and Titanfall. I think it is a great idea as it will stop the player base from being split into two categories, one that has the map packs and one that does not. If they are free, everyone will have them.

What is interesting though is that it does seem that Zombies is going to have its very own season pass which is kind of interesting. However for the regular multiplayer and their Battle Royale Blackout Mode. Signs point towards these modes giving us new content for free.

A lot of this is speculation, but the listing for that Specialist Edition seemed legit. Every other year when there has been a special edition of Call Of Duty it has come with the season pass as part of its perks. There is no way that Activision would get away with charging what they charge for a special edition that did not contain perks that longtime fans had become accustomed to.

If this turns out to be true, then it is great news. Although, I am very interested to see how much the season pass for Zombies will be as the season passes before have had maps, Zombies, and other stuff. So if the season pass is just for Zombies it surely has to be priced lower right?
