First Person Shooters At E3 2018
We all know that Battlefield V and Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII will be shown in more detail at E3, but these are the games that I am really hoping to see.
Halo 6
I am a huge Halo fan and if I am honest if it was not for Halo on the original Xbox, I would not be as big into first person shooters as I am right now. Halo is sci-fi first person action at its very best. It is not just the weapons, the gameplay and the maps that make it so much fun. It is also the lore. To say that I am fully invested in the Halo lore is a major understatement. I love the tale that Bungie and now 343 have crafted and I am eagerly awaiting for this sixth installment which is most likely bringing this current trilogy to a close.Microsoft needs something big at E3 this year and I think that even if it is just a teaser, Halo 6 would be the biggest thing that they could possibly do…… well this and a new Gears Of War, but that is not a first person shooter.
Resistance 4 Or A Resistance Collection
I can hear more than a few of your right now saying “what the heck is Resistance?”. Well, Resistance is a series of first person shooters that are set in an alternate timeline where man fought an alien species known as the Chimera. The first game, Fall Of Man was set during the second world war. The first game was a PlayStation 3 launch title and it would get two full sequels on the PS3 and a two spin-off games. One on the PSP and one of the PlayStation Vita. The mix of old weapons and alien technology made for a really interesting twist. I do not know what Sony’s problem with the series is, they seem to love Killzone, but never give Resistance that same amount of respect.I know that a new Resistance game is a long shot, but it is something that I would love to see at this year’s E3. I would even be happy with a Resistance collection for PlayStation 4.
I would love to know what first person shooter games you would love to see or have a feeling will be shown at E3 2018.
